Parker Point Estate Restoration
BRINGING THIS HISTORIC BEAUTY BACK TO LIFE
The original walk-through of this 1920's estate was like walking back in time. Not an inch of the home was left untouched when it was complete, but in many ways it's hard to tell. The owner wanted to restore this home to its original grandeur while updating it's systems and modernizing its function. Nine bedrooms were turned into seven with a bathroom added to each bedroom, the cramped 'maids wing' re-configured into 2 beautiful bedroom suites, and a luxurious master suite created by combining side by side bedrooms at the center of the house. Custom made trim, cabinets and hardware match the originals throughout, and wherever possible modern touches were hidden by period elements. The stone arches on the water side were completely taken down, numbered, and rebuilt to support a walkout balcony above. New siding, roofs, landscaping and a gorgeous dock complete the exterior.
